So, I updated my Mac, and my UAD Quad Firewire was rendered useless. I was unable to get in touch with the person who had originally unlocked it for me to see about transferring it. In my Google searching, I stumbled across this forum, and lo and behold, for what would have cost me over $3,000 I was able to get for $300. Best part, the plugins are transferred into my account. This was a pleasant experience, with quick responses to any questions I had, and a painless process to get the plugins transferred. I needed to quickly update my UAD-2 when upgrading to the Mac Mini M2 in the studio. I had no idea that firewire devices were lo longer supported. Someone had previously unlocked a bunch of plugins on my firewire unit, but i've been unable to get in touch to see about transferring to my new device.
